Notes:
Yay! It's my first movie vid. I thought it would be "easier" because there's not as much footage to go through, and in a way that proved true. But in the same way it was also slightly more difficult for the very same reason. There just wasn't as much footage to choose from. I had to be careful and calculated about every single shot I used and where I used it because there is only so much. Overall, it was a fun vid to make. I tried some different things, some work with voice-overs and titles amongst other less-obvious things. Plus I re-installed Windows while in the middle of making this so that was a bit of an adventure.

Also, it was really neat working on this at the same time Dayln worked on hers. Both of us are convinced that the other's is better. And both of us went through our own little "slumps" during the process. However, somehow we both finished in the same night. We both agreed on one thing, and that it is hard to go searching for clips because you just want to sit there and finish watching the movie. Those damn boys are distracting!

(Honestly, I wish I kept notes on my process so I could offer something coherent here for those of you who are curious. Plus, I think I need to re-learn that AMV guide cause AVIs are not my friend lately.)

I love this vid. Like..so, very muchly much more more alot alot! ;)
The color - duh and I love the texture. It looks very awesome with this.

So, the opening to this alone breaks my heart! I love the shots you chose, and the text looks so awesome That was definitely worth the work you put into those. Very cool!

1:02 - i love the fast beats there and the black and white (good idea, i enjoyed copying that from you ;)

1:30 - 1:34 - aw. i love the black and white there as well. and those beats at the end i love.
1:43 - LOVE that part. I love too that Billy really isn't running from Joe He's just running to the money, which is still silly. Silly Billy
I love all the fight scenes. I know you were savin those and they all look awesome. Perfectly placed.
2:19 - Guittttarrr sexxx. AND probably one of my favorite parts. Lovin the additive dissolves
2:54 - I love the way you did this. The speedy black and white clips look so awesome. And just. Oh boys!
The ending seriously gives me chills. Having it cut to the audio of the movie is extremely effective. I love it.

So dude. This is my new favorite video. It's awesome. You're awesome.
I love it, and not just any kind of love - epic, angsty, hurty, kill-yourself love! ;)

Hehe I think someone's been brushing up on her Seuss. I gotta be real, I am so so happy with the opening. I'm really glad I spent as much time on it as I did because it was definitely worth the headache! And yeah I do expect a credit from you for stealing the ever-so-original idea of black and white clips. I came up with that one myself. *wink* Hehehe, yeah he's running to the money. He'd take Joe with him if he weren't such a Cunt-rary motherfrakker and would let him. But we all know how that ends. And you! YOU!

holy crap. it's 3AM and I'm not really lucid enough to give coherent feedback, but you did a phenomonal job with this song and I love it for this vid so much.

the cutting. the emotional build-up. the intensity. the texture and coloring. oh, oh oh, this is awesome. please let me know when you have the xvid version up?

This is an excellent vid, great intensity. I really liked what you did with the opening text too it immediately gave me the right impression.

I don't know the source at all but I just wanted to say I watched the vid and enjoyed it nonetheless.

ZOMG! I really liked this, kc! I loved the beginning before starting off the music. My favorite parts were "Look in my eyes" at 2:10, The 4 way split screen at 2:28 and 2:51 all the way to the end - very intense and perfect mood to match the music. Due to the fact that I haven't seen this movie, woah - intense ending.. I like shocking endings, don't you? hehe. Great video!

THANK YOU! Y'know, I wish I could take credit for the four-way split screen, but that was straight out of the movie. It's a neat little trick though! Maybe we can learn something from it huh? And zomg! Thank you SO MUCH for mentioning the "look in my eyes" part. I was kinda nervous about that so YAY!

This was really well-done; I especially loved everything coming together at the end, and the way you cut back to the sound of the movie immediately after the music ended. That made my stomach twist (which in this case is a good thing!).

My GOD, KC. This is AWESOME. You used the music really well, and even though I haven't seen the movie, the story was crystal clear and I could follow it every step of the way. Callum's one hot motherfrakker! *lol*

Plus... that last clip... gah, that shocked me SO much. Like... I wasn't expecting it at all, and it was... gah.

Argh!!! Why doesn't iMeem work for me? Why? Why? It hangs every 3-5 seconds and drives me insane,

But that aside, incredible vid!!! I loved the voiceovers and the captions. I watched dayln's too and it's amazing to me that you guys were using the same footage and yet came up with such very different vids. Completely different experience. Both of them are amazing.

I want to see this movie now. It looks intense. And Callum is so very, very beautiful. ;)

WOW. what an absolutely gorgeous vid! and you really captured the dynamic between billy and joe, and used their scenes together in a very effective and unusual way. just: WOW, i loved it and i will be watching it a few more times today!

Aw thank you! I'm glad you liked how I used the scenes. It was definitely a painstaking process. Not the actual act of it, but just deciding what to go where, y'know? So YAY! It's awesome to hear it captured their dynamic in the way I wanted it to. :D Watch it as many times as you want honey! :D

I feel run through by this. The emotion in this is incredible, and outside of that, it is very visually appealing. It all fits together so fluidly, the bits and pieces, into this knockout punch. Gorgeous.
