So you have NO idea how super giddy I was that you made me not one, but two vids for my birthday!

And this is just so beautiful, and so iconic of the reasons we got into this show in the first place. Lee and Kara are totally our gateway drug. Hahaha.

Details:
- The opening of this is just perfect.
- I love the bubbly sparkle-y effects, so perfect for those chimes in the song. They sound like sparkles and bubbles, haha.
- I love the ga-thunk-a-thunk (you know what I mean) splices, those work amazingly well.
- :48 Gah! *loves*
- 1:09 - 1:19 I love this whole sequence, just the way it's potted out from the present to the past with the flashbacks of their night and then Lee alone and back to the boxing match. Perfect cuts and transitions and just perfect lyrically.
- 1:28-ish I love these shots.
- 1:48-1:53-ish! Ah! THE sequence! Memories hahaha.
- 2:03 that shot is perfect!
- I love the entire "and when we meet..." sequence (all the way through "I've moved on") that's really well done again with the flashbacks and the piecing it together
- 2:51-2:54 GOD I love the way you did this, bringing the literal interpretation out and also RIPPING my heart out.
- 2:55 More literal-interpretation. I just love that shot for that part in the song. Perfect.

Gah! So much love. How the HELL did I get so lucky, huh?

I'm so SO glad you like this. The whole reason I wanted to do this was because of what you said how they were the reason we got into the show, and I wanted to do this vid as a present for you especially because of that.

The sparklies, it's a big relief you like those, I thought maybe they would be TOO sparkly for the vid. But I'm glad they worked.
I think that 1:09-1:19 sequence was the first part I did, those lyrics really jumped out at me. So, awesome.
And just YAY for you liking it, that makes me happy and
ILU!

Beautiful. Great effects and wonderful editing. I think my favourite part was from 'Taking A Break' and the lyrics about moving on. Hit all the right notes for me!

I've had this song in mind for a Kara/Lee vid for such a long time and that part you mentioned was one of the reason - I think the lyrics just suit them so wonderfully, so I'm really glad to hear you liked that part! :)

Seriously, this is probably the most professionally made fan-vid I've ever seen. The transitions work very well, and the way the whole thing "dances" with the music is breathtaking.

I especially loved how you joined together things from different episodes/seasons, that looked so alike. Only two examples, but if I had more time, I could probably talk about each cut separatelly.

1. The kiss between K/L in Home cut to the kiss btw K/A in LDYB, and Lee turning away from it. Priceless.

2. Lee in a hospital bed in Sacrifice, cut to Kara hovering over him in ResShip. His position seems to be identical, and it's fantastic that you noticed those similarities at such episodic "distances".

There were much more of those moments, but for now I only remembered those two. I'll friend you, so I can catch more of your works, and will try to catch up with earlier ones, as soon as I can.

I'm so excited you mentioned those parts actually. Alot of times I'll stumble upon instances like that when I'm editing a vid, but those two that you pointed out were actually purposeful, so I'm really glad you mentioned them and that they worked for you! :)

WOW!! I seriously think this may be my all time favorite Lee& Kara vid! Your editing and beats are spot on! Great song for them too! I think the most powerful section for me is the 'under the wing sequence'.
I am crying and speachless. Awesome, thanks for sharing! (KC you are a lucky lady!)

I think that 'under the wing' part is definitely one of my favorite scenes from the show - just the way Lee looks at her, they're so in love I had to use it in the vid ;)

That was amazing... The opening sequence just set the tone for the wonderful feel of this vid and, and, and... I'm drooling all over the floor. Great use of effects, textures, clip choice, colors, lyric interpretation... I'm just amazed!

I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I was worried maybe that opening sequence ran a little long but I loved that scene and just had to use it somewhere.

I'm impressed by all the effects you used in the editing. I'm not usually a fan of obvious "bubble' additions, but it worked here with your choice of song. BTW, the song is perfect for Kara/Lee-I'm glad it was used and to such good effect!

I first saw this vid on YouTube and I absolutely adore it! It's my favourite Kara/Lee vid and I just think it's gorgeous and perfect! Your editing skills are amazing. I was wondering if you'd be willing to put it up for download again? I'd love to have it in higher definition!
