So when she jokingly suggested I vid them - I basically had to! So thank you KC for the awesome plot-bunny! ♥

Okay I don't even WATCH this show but I've heard Kayla squee'ing about her love for it lately and this vid so I thought I'd meander over here and look at it and....god Dayln I don't know how you do it but this video just made me FEEL so much for this show, these characters, everything about them. It's so beautiful. Your seamless editing (ha! I saw the SFU shot which you used amazingly) to THIS song. *wibbles* Just so jaw droppingly gorgeous. I'm downloading it to add to my non-existent folder of BSG vids because seriously, I gotta watch this show now.

Oh wow dude, I'm speechless!
Thank you very much for taking the time to watch this even though you haven't seen the show - and I'm SO flattered that it had the effect it did for the same reason! That fills me with so much glee, you have no idea!
Plus, if the vid gets you to watch BSG then I consider it mission accomlished - because the show really is AMAZING! The best show on TV in my opinion :)

Sam and Duck. It's canon baby. So, first of all, I have always been astounded at your abilities when it comes to created reality videos and this is no exception. You're just, frakking amazing is what you're just. And I am so flattered... you have no idea.... that you were so inspired by my fic to make a vid. I knew you were doing it and I just, every time you sent me a clip I just got more and more excited. It's very very close to seeing what you've written become real.

I love the scene where Tucker shows Sam the NCP badge and Sam looks so devastated. You. Just Gah. *clutches heart* And the stuff-scene, to quote from a very close friend hah, is just perfect. But my favorite part of all has to be the bit with the explosion and Sam's wibble and duck and, Oh. You have heard me verbally respond quite non-verbally in fact, hahaha. Since I leaves me speechless most of the time. I love it like sunshine! You are my hero!

Omgsh YES they are SO canon it's not even funny.
I'm so, so, so, so relieved that you liked this - I really wanted to do the fic justice because it is such a gorgeous piece and I was really trying to make the vid reflect even a fraction of that..so yay!

I'm so glad you liked the NCP badge scene, I wasn't sure it looked real or made sense and what not but that's awesome that it worked.
Aw Sammmmmmmy and his wibble *sigh* I think he needs a shoulder to cry on....I think Chief has very nice shoulders....getting off topic!

I never know how to comment on vids. Probably because I don't make them, so I don't know quite how they work. And I have to admit I usually don't watch them, either. The angsty ones have a way of getting inside me in a way that fic doesn't. I can't shut out hurty bits of fic easier than I can images. So if I skp a lot of your work, that's why; nothing personal.

Actually, maybe it is personal...in a good way. Your vids are usually so well done, so something in this vein is rather heart-squeezing, thanks in part simply to your talent with the medium. The combination of narrative and song had me at the point of tears, especially with Sam there at the end, the parallels to his situation with Kara. Thanks for making this beautiful companion piece to KC's fic.

holy frakking hell, how on earth do you do that?!? That is some of the most brilliant vidding I've ever seen.

You took all those visceral, physical moments from KC's fic, especially the pyramid game and Sam throwing the goal shot while Duck dies, and you tie it in with all these other emotional and highly slashable moments, and it's just PERFECTION. I totally ship the hell out of Sam/Duck after this and the fic.

Wow. Just WOW. Especially the build up to implying the Sam wanted Jammer to die to pay for Duck's death? Brilliant!!!

I'm so extremely glad to hear that you think it captured the fic the way it did - that really was my main goal in making this, doing the fic justice. And yay for more Sam/Duck shippers! The more the merrier :)
Also, I would just like to say how frakkin happy it makes me that you mentioned the section with Jammer. Because that's exactly how I wanted it to come across and I was super nervous that the message wasn't entirely clear and it would just end up looking random, but yay that it worked out :)

Fandom never ceases to amaze me with how inventive it can be. I was really getting into it, tears and all, before I had to remind myself that I'd never even considered them as a viable pair.

That was probably the most beautiful BSG vid I've ever seen. Such AMAZING editing, and the added color and the amazing cuts and.. MY FAVORITE SLASH COUPLE I THOUGHT NOBODY LOVED BUT ME.

I just received my Bascon dvd and when I saw this vid, I HAD to leave feedback on it. I know shit all about the pairing and mostly about both characters, since i haven't seen past the first or second ep of season 3 (horribly behind, yes), but WOW. I love the musicality in this so much, and the play of colors is so beautiful. Even not knowing much about the context, it's such a feast for the eyes and it really packs a huge emotional punch.

Especially that you still found it emotional without having much context, that's awesome. I'm really glad that you liked the colors and stuff too - I used a lot of textures and stuff on this one so I'm glad it didn't come off as overkill.

This is such an amazing story you've put together, I am seriously in awe of how well it flows. I get kind of wibbly over the sheer amount of hurt in this. Gah. Here I thought New Caprica couldn't get any more depressing than canon.
